Download Cassette Transport by Waves Factory Free Tape Emulation, Tape Stop VST, VST3 Plugin. Today there are more great free plugins than ever before, but the freeware scene is always changing. In the past it was impossible to imagine that so many quality tools could be available at no cost. Free VST Plugins are one of the most exciting things about mixing. With over 6 years of experience in the music industry, Harry has played multiple festivals, run his own sell out events, been released on multiple labels & even had coverage on national radio. The Waves plugins are very subtle, which I'm glad about.Harry is a Music Producer, DJ & marketing specialist. I find these setting can become overkill quite easily. Just graze the condition, if that makes sense. you don't need to hash up a lot of crosstalk, and saturation. What a complete studio environment that would be!Įnjoy, but remember to go VERY EASY. Probably some audio leakage of some overly loud groupies, that were purposely moved to Studio B. Now if I could just find a VST that has musicians show up late, or with a hangover (include periodic belching, please), and a light fader that creates 50-60 cycle hum (when you turn the lights halfway down), oh yeah, and have some tape splices that cause the tape to spin off the reels occasionally during FF, or RR (Add re spooling down time). Along with the SSL channel strip, I'm pretty much in virtual studio heaven. It is subtle, and for some, much appreciated, though. They have very different forms of crosstalk, circuit and component saturation character. Or should I say, magnetic particled this on the head. I have the CTC-1 and it is great! The ideal situation is to have them both! Jemusic wrote: Console emulation and Tape emulation are not the same thing. With Presonus' new State Space Modelling no doubt they could produce a fine Tape emulation of several different Tape types.
Multifederal wroteWith the MixFX rack being for one plugin only, maybe Presonus should add Tape emulation to the CTC-1, integrated, that way we could have the full gamut. Is MixFX integration available to all developers, or does it require special collaboration with Presonus? If it's open to all, then I'd be inclined to petition Overloud to do a MixFX version of it, and I exhort Presonus to contact Overloud to assist them, because the quality of the plugin is so good that I deem it worthy of MixFx duties in S1. If Presonus were to add Tape emulation to CTC-1 we'd be sorted though. I'm presuming Overloud won't do a MixFX version of it, but if they did we'd be in heaven, because it sounds off-the-charts awesome. Their plugin emulates Tape going out of the console onto Tape then back into the console - as happens in a real studio. It has three consoles to choose from with added simultaneous Tape emulation. Overloud recently released a new plugin with such a topology.
